I travel a road through trees of emerald and amber
As I drive along, light and shadow dapple the grey asphalt and broken center lines
Until man made road ends and dirt path leads to mountain stream
Beside me water rushes and splashes between rocks and dead tree branches left over from last winter's storm
I feel the cool water around my ankles and slippery rocks under my feet, I never want to leave here, the air is living breath
Cool, warm, gentle streams and forest roads that lead to deeper woods and more solidude ...solitude that brings electric energy into every living thing

Out here is quiet, such a deep quiet that a city never knows and warm harmonies of birdsong, bees and dragonflies only make the quiet more real
Feel the smooth stones, warmed by the sun now sinking behind the trees
Climb the banks and hillsides, follow the path if you want to
Let the earth give you her gift and share her wisdom
As deep darkness settles down over the trees, rest on soft pine needles and let the spirit of the woods guard your sleep
